Online money transfer company Xoom has introduced a mobile site that lets consumers transfer money via their smartphones.

Users can access their account to view transactions, as well as add or cancel any.  The mobile site is powered by Usablenet.

“Xoom’s mission is to provide breathtakingly fast, easy and fair money transfer experiences for our customers,” said Julian King, senior vice president of marketing and corporate development at Xoom.

“Our strategy is to extend the convenience Xoom money transfer experience to all screen,” he said.

Xoom claims to offer safe and secure sending options from a consumer’s laptop, tablet PC or smartphone device.

Via the mobile site, users can choose the amount they want to transfer, how it will be received, and the payment and scheduling options.

Additionally, consumers can access the help center and use the Spanish-enabled functionality.
