The Popcorn Factory pops into mobile commerce

popcorn-1The Popcorn Factory is offering consumers tasty treats via a new mobile-optimized commerce site, with iPhone, BlackBerry and Android applications to be released soon.

The company is using Digby’s mobile commerce software platform. Consumers can now purchase their favorite flavors via their mobile device.

Neither Digby or Popcorn Factory returned calls in time for press.

The Popcorn Factory pops more than one million pounds of popcorn per year in several gourmet flavors.

Digby provides mobile commerce services designed specifically for retailers.

Users can visit the mobile site by going to on their handset.

Customers can research products, view photos and read complete product descriptions.

Shoppable popcorn
Customers can shop by different categories, including by any occasion, birthday gifts, fall, Halloween and popcorn tins.

Additionally, consumers can choose to order products by phone.

When browsing by assortment, customers can select how many products they want, add them to their cart and email the items to friends and family.
