“The majority of our customers are not sitting behind a desk,” said Mike Anderson, national sales manager at POSpaper.com, Jacksonville, FL. “Our customers are busy restaurateurs and retailers who are actively running their establishments on the front lines.

“Our mobile site will enable our customers and new customers to easily order or re-order their products standing in a supply closet, looking at an empty shelf under their POS equipment or even if they are away from their business and remember they forgot to order their POS paper and ribbon supplies,” he said.

“User rates of smartphones with Internet browsing capabilities have obviously skyrocketed in the past 24 months,” Mr. Anderson said. “We are simply allowing our customers an easier to use interface from their devices compared to our regular site.

“People are getting used to our mobile site, but our primary traffic is still on our main site,” he said.
