Former PlayStation boss now CEO of all of Sony, Kazuo Hirai, has said the company aims to boost operating profits 25-fold within three years by growing its profitable divisions, including camera sensors and PlayStation. A few days ago Kaz said Sony would stop trying to grow its market share in the mobile phone market.

Lenovo Pulls Laptop App After Security Warnings
Lenovo Group Ltd. is working quickly to wipe all traces of an app it had preinstalled on some consumer laptops, responding to security researchers’ warnings that the app could give attackers a way to steal people’s encrypted Web data or online passwords.

Pebble To Unveil New Model Ahead Of The Apple Watch
The Pebble Watch is one of the most popular smartwatches in the market these days, with over a million units sold. But with the Apple Watch’s release right around the corner, that could very well change. However, Pebble is set to release a new model next week, which is supposed to be much thinner and with a color e-paper display, good enough to perhaps rain on Apple Inc.’s. parade.

StyleBlueprint’s app offers inside guide to Nashville
Online lifestyle publication StyleBlueprint launched a mobile application this month to connect users to about 250 Nashville businesses using location-based technology. The free StyleBlueprint app uses BKON’s iBeacon technology to allow retailers, restaurants and other companies to share customized messages with app users within a certain radius of the business.
