Struggling online music service Rdio is selling its assets to Pandora Media Inc., and in the process Rdio will shut down its service and seek chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, according to a statement.

Apple Pay now available in Canada
Apple Pay is now available in Canada, the third country to adopt the mobile payment system. Starting Tuesday, Amex users will be able to scan their card or enter account details into the digital wallet on their iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch.

Amazon’s holiday shopping target: The procrastinator
Amazon.com Inc. has a new, expensive-to-reach target in its quest to sell everything to everyone: Last-minute holiday shoppers. The online store has spent the past year expanding its same-day delivery service to 24 metropolitan areas covering a population of 75.7 million people, or almost one in four U.S. residents, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
