Technology Credit Union debuts mobile banking apps to members

The company’s members can check account balances, track activity, transfer funds and pay bills via the mobile apps. Additionally, users can find the nearest surcharge-free ATM or branch location.

Technology Credit Union has extended its membership benefits to small businesses and individuals who live and work in the greater Bay Area.

According to the company, the apps have been downloaded more than 2,000 times.

In addition to its mobile applications, Technology Credit Union also rolled out a mobile site.

The company has built a safe-access tools to protect its member accounts.

Consumers can create their own security access password and once they close the app or log out the session will end.

Additionally, no personal data is stored on members’ devices and accounts are protected using the same 128-bit encryption as when you bank online.

The company decided to delve into mobile banking because of its growth in the space.

Technology Credit Union believes that the mobile offerings give its members as many ways as possible to do their banking.

The company first launched its mobile banking product in 2007 and within four years, its members increased by 70 percent, representing approximately 11 percent of all online banking users.
