NEW YORK – A Coca-Cola executive at ad:tech said the beverage giant is piloting a program with Google Wallet where consumers can use their mobile device to pay for a drink at 200 of its vending machines across the United States.
Registration is open for the Mobile FirstLook: Strategy 2012 conference Jan. 19 with speakers from Macy’s, InsightExpress, Coca-Cola, MTV, Walgreens and Sears. This day-long New York event is a must-attend for marketers, retailers and agencies.
NEW YORK – A Live Nation executive at ad:tech said that the company is continually looking at ways to drive revenue and ticket sales with new enhancements such as letting consumers order concessions via their mobile device.
Mobile phones are only used for an average of 18 months before dropping down toilets, falling on tables and general wear-and-tear drives the consumer back into the buyers’ market. For fashion- and trend-conscious consumers, this cycle is probably shorter.
