The Federal Communications Commission’s Net neutrality rules amount to a “power grab,” Internet service providers charge in a court filing Thursday. USTelecom, AT&T, Centurylink, the National Cable & Telecommunications Association, CTIA and others filed the brief in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.

Toyota picks this little-known company over Apple, Google
Toyota Motor Corp. will turn to a little-known company instead of Apple Inc. or Google Inc. to provide navigation and phone connectivity, as it seeks to maintain control of the car features. The 2016 Tacoma pickup will be the first of several Toyota models to use Scout GPS Link from Telenav Inc.

Google refuses French order to apply ‘right to be forgotten’ globally
Google Inc is refusing to bow to an order from the French privacy watchdog to scrub search results worldwide when users invoke their “right to be forgotten” online, it said on Thursday, exposing itself to possible fines. The French data protection authority, the CNIL, in June ordered the search engine group to de-list on request search results appearing under a person’s name from all its websites, including Google.com.
