Google overhaul ‘shareholder friendly’ but details scarce
Google Inc’s overhaul of its operating structure is an acknowledgement of the lack of transparency surrounding its disparate businesses and projects, analysts said, but it remains to be seen how much more the company will actually disclose. Analysts and investors have long sought more granular detail on Google’s capital spending and cash flow, as well as the financial performance of YouTube and Android.

Startups vie to build an Uber for health care
Darren Gold had a stomach virus the first time he used an app called Heal to summon a doctor to his Beverly Hills home. He liked the Stanford-trained doctor who showed up so much that he called Heal again when his 2-year-old son had a fever, and again when the whole family had colds.

IPhone 6S expected to have improved camera
If it’s August, it’s time to start making educated guesses about the next iPhone. Apple is expected to debut the latest editions of the iPhone on Sept. 9, the 6S and 6S Plus, models that will have minimal upgrades, mostly in better performance, and an improved camera, says Mark Gurman, a senior editor for the 9to5Mac blog.

Google-backed ticket app looks to rival Ticketmaster
Fresh off a multi-million dollar funding round, U.K. start-up Dice – which lets people buy tickets without the booking fee – is eyeing expansion and hopes to take on the likes of Ticketmaster. Users of Dice, which is aimed at a young audience, can buy tickets for gigs via a mobile phone app and avoid paying booking fees.
