Google announced on Wednesday it is piloting a program called Accelerated Mobile Pages that allows users to search for news and pull up a host of articles from publishers instantly. But unlike Facebook’s Instant Articles, or Apple Inc’s Apple News, publishers do not payGoogle to have their articles show up.

 Apple’s iOS is still getting crushed by Android in the US
Apple’s share of the smartphone market in the U.S. reached a 12-month low during the three month period ending in August, according to the latest data from Kantar Worldpanel ComTech. During that time, its share fell 2.1 percent and was quickly scooped up by Android.

FanDuel bans employees from playing daily fantasy contests for money
FanDuel Inc., one of the biggest daily fantasy-sports sites in the U.S., said it is permanently banning its employees from playing in daily fantasy contests for money and is asking a former U.S. Attorney General to review the company’s internal processes.
