Men’s Wearhouse mobile app aims to streamline wedding planning processBy
The Tuxedo Group Manager app keeps both couples and wedding parties constantly connected throughout the wedding process. The app is available for iPhone and iPad devices.
“Our goal is to make planning a wedding as easy as possible for a couple,” said Kelly Helthall, director of ecommerce at Men’s Wearhouse.
“With over 900 locations, is it easy to rent your tuxedos with us, and now we’re putting the ability to manage their entire wedding party’s tuxedo rentals at your fingertips,” she said.
Here comes the app
Through the mobile app, couples can manage their tuxedo rental process from start to finish.
Using the app, consumers can check status of their rentals and view which members of the wedding party have and have not been fitted for, picked up, or returned their tuxedos.
Furthermore, the app includes real-time assistance through a live chat functionality where consumers can chat with Men’s Wearhouse customer service.

Word of mouth
The company is getting the word out about the app within their store as part of our consultative process.
Additionally, Men’s Wearhouse is sending emails letting the wedding couples know that it has an app specifically designed for managing their wedding group’s fittings, pickups and returns.
Moreover, the company will be promoting the app through its Web site, via in-store signage and in print.
“Our company prides itself in providing world-class customer service both in and out of our stores,” Ms. Helthall said. “This app allows us put wedding planning tools in the customer’s hands.”
