HotelsByMe lets consumers book hotels via mobile app

Users who are searching for a hotel can view options on a map to give ethem a visual cue of the physical location of each property. Consumers can also check room rates, guest reviews and photos.

“HotelsByMe is an application focussed on helping travelers find the best hotel rates on their mobile device in an efficient manner,” said Meeta Oberoi, managing partner at HotelsByMe, Dallas. “The application is location aware and the most common features like finding nearby hotels or speaking to an agent are available right from the main screen.

“Our target market is travelers that have a smartphone,” she said. “More and more people are using their smartphones as a GPS device.

“So it is only natural that people would use their phones for making travel arrangements on the go. For this segment of the population, our application helps travelers quickly find the best hotel rates and book the best deal in just a few clicks.”

HotelsByMe is a Dallas-based Expedia affiliate that helps users find and book hotels all over the world.
