Couponz pushes mobile coupons, offers via iPhone app

Couponz Inc. is letting consumers browse and redeem mobile coupons and get push notifications with the latest offers from their favorite places via an iPhone application.

The Couponz application uses push notifications to alert consumers of any new deals. In addition, the app incorporates Red Laser Technology that gives consumers the ability to scan the coupons.

“Couponz is looking to provide a revolutionized marketing platform for businesses that can help increase efficiency exponential by streamlining the ability to update consumers with upcoming discounts and promotions while utilizing Red Laser technology to track the demographics of that particular business,” said Dave Gasparine marketing rep for Couponz.

“Couponz is in the process of being developed for other platforms such as Blackberry and Droid, as far as the release date, that is still to be determined,” he said. “I believe mobile coupons are the future and have a buzz because they are easy to use, track and share with friends. Everyone enjoys convenience, especially when it saves┬áthem money.”

The application lets consumers browse by different business categories such as auto repair, bar and grill, clothing, health and fitness, music, optometry, real estate, restaurants, retail and sporting goods.

Consumers can check to see which businesses are offering deals.

In addition, consumers can scan the coupon at the point of sale or add it to their favorites to redeem another time.

Consumers can turn notifications on or off and decide whether they want to get updates from certain companies.

Using the application, consumers can search for a specific business, add coupons to their favorites list and learn more about how to use the application.

Additionally, consumers can change their current location, the radius and update their profile.

“I believe they will revolutionize the way businesses advertise and update consumers by creating a new platform for coupon style advertising,” Mr. Gasparine said.

“We are working on several different ideas to enable businesses to take advantage of the red laser within the app and the security features it provides,” he said. “These features help provide a much more accurate feedback to businesses.

“We will be releasing some great updates that will enhance the Couponz app as well as the website in the near future.”
