A mobile site for a company like is a must-have. In fact, I think the company’s niche fits in well with the overall mobile scene. Moreover, a mobile site is essential for a company that lacks brick-and-mortar storefronts. While some businesses may benefit from local listings and other local-optimization tactics for mobile, BuyCostumes really had to develop a mobile presence the only way it could, followed by promotional strategies to drive traffic to the site. As more consumers are willing to purchase via mobile sites (and not just search), BuyCostumes complemented the emerging trend.
